Livin' Life!!

O.K., I am now back in Arizona, FINALLY!! I am slowly but surly bettering myself, which was the first thing on my list of things to do when I got back from the "Sand Box". Started with my physical self. First my hair, ouch!! Dying it one too many times, so now it is fried. So I have to wait for it to heal so I can get it to the color I want it to be. Then last week I went in for a dental cleaning, double ouch!! I am sitting in the chair and the dentist starts to put the scraper, poker in my mouth. She completely misses my mouth and stabs my bottom lip! I knew I hated the dentist for some reason. She seemed to be going to war with my teeth and gums. Then about half way through, she started singing along with the radio. She started to calm down then. Of course throughout the cleaning I am gagging on the ICE COLD water that is spraying on my sensitive teeth. I couldn't wait for it to be over. Then when I thought the worst was yet to come, she held up a mirror and showed me my freshly cleaned teeth. I was shocked! And excited at the same time. I didn't realize how bad they were. No more stains. :) Now I am being more careful on what I eat. The next thing I did was mad an appointment for a facial. I was having a hard time cleaning "Iraq" out of my pores. That was awesome!!! I never felt anything so good. Think I am going to have to go back and get a back massage or something. I have another appointment on the 16th. The good thing is, my face is starting to clear up and the pores are getting smaller. She told me to just keep washing and make sure to use a toner with no alcohol in it. Neutrogena works wonders. Use it for my face wash and toner. Don't have to use much lotion for my face. Just my nose. Also I started working out again. Bought an ab ball along with a sit up thing that screws on the bottom of your door and holds your feet. Learning self-defense too! And went to Walmart to pick up some vitamins. B12 and Calcium. Just have to find the iron ones and folic acid. On the 21st I will talk to my Doc about the smoking sensation class. They will give me some pills that will help me quit smoking. Then on the first of June I will start going to school for the next six months, full time! Oh yeah, I got promoted to SGT on the 1st of April.

  1. Good for you for getting so motivated. Also garlic pills are good for keeping you from getting sick. Judy and her family (even the kids) swear by them. They don't make you smell either, unless you eat a whole bottle (like Sara did when she was 2). Also for smoking, buy the book "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking" by Allen Carr. All of us at work are trying to quit also. We have 6 out of 8 smokers.
